Will Be On Display During April Air Show

A Gulfstream G2 owned by actor John Travolta has been donated to the Georgia Aviation Hall of Fame, and will be on display for the museum's air show in April.

Travolta donated the jet in honor of his son Jett, who passed away in 2009. Chrissy Miner, a spokeswoman for Robbins AFB where the museum is located, says it is currently being prepped for static display at the show, after which it will be towed to the museum.

The plane will become third aircraft in the Hall of Fame's collection.

The display at the airshow will be static only. The public will not be allowed to tour the interior of the aircraft, according to examiner.com.

The show at Warner Robbins AFB is open to the public and free of charge. It will be held April 28th and 29th.
