Piper Receives Approval Of M600 From Brazilian Aviation Authority

Company Sees Signs Of Improvement In The Economy

Piper Aircraft has been awarded approval from the National Civil Aviation Agency (ANAC) in Brazil for its top-of-the-line, single-engine turbo prop product, the M600.

"ANAC's approval of the M600 is excellent news for Piper Aircraft and our Brazilian dealer, J.P. Martins Aviacao. We are eager to bring our newest product to the Brazilian market," said Simon Caldecott, President and CEO of Piper Aircraft. "Given the increased range, payload and speed as well as the competitive acquisition and operating cost, the M600 is perfectly positioned to support the needs of customers in that region."

Paulo N. Martins, President of J.P. Martins added, "Despite the economic challenges that have been present in our market, we are beginning to see signs of improvement. The timing of ANAC's approval is perfect. We are sure with its advanced technology, better performance, range, and low operating cost, the M600 will exceed the expectations of the Brazilian customers."
