While at the AMA Expo 2016, ANN CEO and Editor-In-Chief, Jim Campbell, checked in to get an update on the world of radio controlled helicopters. This led him to interview, Dave Millner, who is the president of the International Radio Controlled Helicopter Association (IRCHA).
Jim recounted his early days with radio -controlled helicopters and asked Millner, where is this thing going? Millner short answer was, “We don’t know.” His answer was spoken with a positive lean because he says progress is occurring so rapidly it’s hard to tell what’s coming next.
Millner talks with Jim about their annual jamboree that can last several days and is full of fun, flying and forums. While he talks about all that goes on, you’ll see video of model helicopters doing things that seem impossible. We guarantee the video is real; no trick photography was involved.
