FreeFlight Systems Promotes Peter Ring

Named To The Position Of Vice President Sales And Marketing

FreeFlight Systems has promoted Peter Ring to Vice President Sales and Marketing.

Based in Irving, Texas, Ring is responsible for getting the company's range of innovative products and services into the global marketplace. Ring will also continue to develop the company's highly effective team of sales, marketing and business development professionals.
 
"Pete understands our products and he understands our customers," said FreeFlight Systems CEO Tim Taylor. "As an experienced pilot, Pete knows that our customers need the best possible performance from their avionics systems, combined with excellent pre and post sales support. He also understands that each customer's needs are unique and that their avionics purchases are important investment decisions, and he strongly and effectively advocates for every customer."
 
A five-plus year FreeFlight Systems team member, Ring brings outstanding capabilities to the company in his new role. Most recently, he served as the Director of Sales and Marketing for FreeFlight Systems. Previously, Ring held a sales leadership position at the Avidyne Corporation and studied flight operations at Daniel Webster College.
 
Ring is an accomplished pilot who holds both private and commercial/instrument certifications. He has more than 10 years of experience in the avionics manufacturing industry and is known by peers as an expert in NextGen technology implementation, and is commonly referred to as, 'The ADS-B Expert'. A respected thought leader in the field, Ring is a sought after public speaker for informational seminars and panel discussions.
