San Diego Air & Space Museum Offers Ground School Program

Renowned Museum Helps Build Aviation Community

Our good freinds at the San Diego Air & Space Museum are offering a Ground School to encourage new pilots to join our ranks.

The SDASM Ground School is, 'a winning combination of the popular FAA-approved King Schools materials, and the unique resources (and coolest venue ever) of the San Diego Air & Space Museum. Flight training is fun and exciting, but it’s a commitment of time and money.  Keep your costs down and get a quick start with our proven Ground School!'

They note that whether you’re ready to take your first flights or have a spouse or friend who is already qualified, this class is a great way to join the fun and get “up to speed” with your flying friends! The course is based on the popular FAA-approved King Schools materials, and utilizes the considerable resources of the San Diego Air & Space Museum.

The course is priced at $269, but SDASM members can take advantage of a $20 discount, and no additional materials are needed to attend. They also offer a risk-free trial... If, during the first class, you decide the Ground School isn't the right fit for you, they'll refund your course price.

Course Schedule

  • February 29 - Airspace & Weather Minimums / Communications & Radar
