ARINC and AeroMech Team Up On RVSM

Solutions To Cover Three Business Jet Models

A RINC and AeroMech say they've teamed up to offer complete RVSM (Reduced Vertical Separation Minimum) solutions for popular Cessna, Beechjet, and Hawker business jet airframes. The teaming agreement between the two companies gives the market a new choice in RVSM service providers.

Competitively-priced RVSM packages will be available starting in the second quarter of 2004 for the Cessna C650, Beechjet-400/Mitsubishi-300, and Hawker 700 airframes. The complete solutions include RVSM group certification supplemental type certificates (STCs), avionics STCs, required hardware, and installation.

Instrumentation from leading suppliers such as Innovative Solutions and Support (ISS), Rockwell Collins, Honeywell, and Thommen Aircraft Instruments is part of the offering. ARINC will perform airframe modifications at its expanded Colorado Springs Aircraft Services Center, newly certified as a Class 1,2,3 & 4 instrument repair facility.

In addition to the required avionics, STCs, and installation, ARINC offers comprehensive "one-stop" RVSM service, which includes preparation of the operator's required airframe documents, a formal RVSM approval request to the local Flight Services District Office, and the required RVSM height monitoring flight.

"This is the only truly complete RVSM service package in the industry," stated Dave Poltorak, ARINC Vice President of Business Aviation Services. "Operators based in any location can now obtain complete and competitively priced RVSM services by making a single phone call to ARINC Direct."

ARINC and AeroMech will also offer their solutions as RVSM installation kits, complete with STCs, for use by qualified system integrators.

"AeroMech is pleased to bring our nearly ten years of RVSM experience in a package that will meet the needs of a significant portion of the business aircraft registered in North America," stated Dave Doucette, Vice President, AeroMech Incorporated.  "Operators of these aircraft now have a choice of obtaining a turnkey RVSM certification from ARINC's quality installation facilities or from their own trusted shop nearby."
