Shenandoah Valley Regional Airport Joins The Avfuel Network

Offers Range Of Services In National Capital Region

Avfuel Corporation and Shenandoah Valley Regional Airport (KSHD) have formed a new branding alliance between the fuel and services supplier and the airport. Under the agreement, Shenandoah Valley Regional Airport is now an Avfuelbranded dealer that offers both the AVTRIP rewards program and the Avfuel Contract Fuel program for jet fuel savings. As an Avnet Premier FBO, SHD offers extraordinary amenities and services as well as around the clock customer service.

“Avfuel has innovative programs, a great network, and provides great support to their dealers,” said Executive Director Greg Campbell of the branding agreement. Located only minutes from bustling business districts, eight colleges and universities, and a collection of wineries, parks, resorts, historical sites and cultural offerings, Shenandoah Valley Regional Airport offers the ideal entry-point for both business travelers and tourists. SHD is a vital component to the economic development of the central Shenandoah Valley providing easy access to numerous major industries and distribution centers.

Located just outside of the Washington Air Defense Identification Zone (ADIZ) makes Shenandoah Valley an ideal stop for military and general aviation traffic traveling along the east coast. “We offer service that exceeds all expectations for comfort and convenience every time,” said Campbell, who has been with the Airport for well-over two decades. The newly remodeled Shenandoah Valley Regional Airport general aviation facility offers a full lineup of amenities and productivity tools, including flight planning with WSI, phone/data lines, a comfortable pilot lounge and sleep room, a pilot kitchen, a spacious conference room, and more. In the pilot lounge pilots will enjoy a large screen HD TV, recliners, and a work area. The café in the nearby airline terminal offers fantastic food and an inviting atmosphere to all customers.

Crew cars are available with fuel purchase, and complimentary beverages, ice and more are available in the pilot kitchen. Full ground services are available as are concierge services for catering, rental cars and hotel. There is also a shuttle to and from the airport and surrounding areas.
