FLYFokker Services Introduced In Dubai

Program Supports All Phases Of Aircraft Life Cycle

Fokker Services introduces its new life cycle support program for the Fokker fleet Monday at the Dubai Airshow. The program, called FLYFokker, consists of cost-effective aircraft and service solutions for start up, mature and phase-out operators.

“At Fokker Services we are dedicated to keep Fokker aircraft in continued competitive operation”, says Erik Goedhart, Vice President Marketing & Sales: “Now, with FLYFokker, we put in the extra mile to combine existing services with latest innovations developed with our strategic partners.”

FLYFokker comprises a package of four solutions: Take Off, Take Care, Take Over and Take Next.

Fokker says the "Take Off" phase will help operators get their aircraft flying in six weeks instead of typically six months. For established Fokker operators, the company says "Take Care" is intended to increase technical dispatch reliability (TDR), reduce direct operating cost (DOC) and improve passenger comfort. Operators moving to other aircraft types are supported by Fokker Services in the Take Over phase, which is targeted towards the continued competitive operation of their Fokker fleet. The fourth solution is a package for a mean and lean transfer of aircraft to the next operator, called Take Next.

FLYFokker has been developed and used by Fokker's key customers and strategic partners. Among the key customers are the operators KLM Cityhopper, Portugalia and Austrian Airlines. Participating major vendors include such as Messier Dowty, Goodrich, C&D Zodiac, Eaton Aerospace, Piedmont Aviation Component Services, and engine OEM’s like Rolls-Royce and Pratt and Whitney Canada.
