Tanis Aircraft Products Announces New CEO/Owner

Minnesota-based Tanis Aircraft Products -- the 30-plus-year maker of aircraft support products -- introduced their new CEO, Bob Krueger, at Oshkosh AirVenture 2006 last week.

"I'm very excited about taking over this company," said Krueger.  "I've been using Tanis products on my own airplanes for years.  I'm on my third airplane, but still using Tanis products."

Krueger chuckled as he explained that he is now the CEO simply because he's now the majority stock holder. Along with long time Tanis employee Linda Cole, Krueger purchased the company from the late Gary Schmidt's estate on July 17th with their own personal finances.

Kruger added he feels that Tanis employees are all up to speed... he's he only one that has to play catch up.

"I'm very excited about taking over this company," said Krueger. "I've been using Tanis products on my own airplanes for years. I'm on my third airplane, but still using Tanis products."

Krueger also announced Tanis Products' new engine dehydrator and battery power supply along with the desire to bring Tanis products to Europe and China.
