Test-Fly A UAV At Sun 'n Fun

DRONE23 And Yuneec Electric Aviation Present The Typhoon Q500+

Attendees at the Sun ‘n Fun International Fly-in & Expo in Lakeland, FL this week will have the opportunity to fly a Yuneec Typhoon Q500+. DRONE23 and Yuneec Electric Aviation are teaming up to present the Q500+ at the DroneZone at booth LD12.

Anyone interested is welcome to fly the drone at no cost, under the tutelage of an experienced instructor.

The Q500+ is an advanced aerial photography and videography quadcopter, capable of flying up to 25 minutes on a single charge. The integrated video camera captures distortion-free, 1080P video and 16 megapixel still photos. A 4K video resolution option will soon be available. Yuneec will offer an easy and lowcost upgrade program for Q500 owners wishing to transition to 4K.

An aerial photography and videography drone is the perfect companion for any aviation enthusiast. The Q500+ is easy to pack up and travel within a small aircraft. Upon reaching a scenic destination, the  Q500+ takes 2 minutes to initialize and fly, capturing amazing photos and video of beautiful landscapes.

Available with the Q500+ is a CGO SteadyGrip handle, which makes it easy to get amazingly steady, gimbal-stabilized video on the ground. The drone’s camera slides on and off with ease and integrates seamlessly with the SteadyGrip.

Safety is of the utmost importance to DRONE23 and Yuneec. The Q500+ incorporates many safety features, including a no-fly database of airports that prevents the drone from starting up or operating in those areas. The safety system also incorporates a 400-feet AGL altitude limiter, preventing the quadcopter from entering off-limits airspace.

At Sun ‘n Fun, all operations will be conducted within
an enclosed DroneZone caged area.
