Cessna Customer Service To Stream NBAA Maintenance Sessions On Internet

Online Viewer Polling Will Allow Immediate Feedback On Services And Options

Cessna  said it will stream a number of maintenance and overhaul sessions for Citation aircraft conducted during the NBAA annual convention live on the Internet. The live streams will allow more universal access for Citation operators around the world who can't attend the event in person.

"This is the first time we've used the Web for an operator's session, at NBAA or at any other venue," said Mark Paolucci, senior vice president, Customer Service. "In light of the global economy and because of the capabilities afforded us by the Internet, this seems to be a logical way to reach more operators in more places. We'll gauge the effectiveness after the show to see how we may continue to exploit technology in the future to better serve the customer."

Paolucci said access to the Internet M&O sessions at NBAA will be restricted to Citation owners, who can participate by directing questions online to Citation experts about their Citation. The live video will also allow capabilities of polling online viewers to evaluate interest in new services or options relating to the particular Citation model. Operators may download a free Web application (App) from the iTunes store that will allow them to follow these NBAA sessions and future events on an iPhone.
