JETTECH Seeking EASA Approvals For STC’d LPV And ADS-B Solutions For 500 & 525 C

Includes Garmin GTN 670/750, GTX 3000, GTX 33ES & GWX 70 Installs

JETTECH plans to seek EASA approvals for several of its FAA approved STCs including those incorporating LPV and ADS-B solutions for legacy Citation 500 series and Citationjet (CJ) 525 series aircraft.

Working with Garmin, JETTECH has engineered various glass-panel aftermarket STC’d solutions, with WAAS approvals, to include installs of single or dual Garmin GTN 650/750, GMA 35 Audio panel, GTX 33ES/GTX 3000ES and GWX 70 Weather Radar.

“Because of increasing interest in several of our STCs, we have agreed to make our products available through JETTECH approved Garmin dealers throughout Europe,” said Rob Irwin, founder and member/manager of JETTECH. “‘With Garmin’s recent availability of the GTX 3000ES TCAS II ADS-B compliant transponder, we can now offer solutions to the European requirement for TCAS II.”

JETTECH has experience in obtaining EASA approvals for its RVSM products on Cessna Citation and Piper Cheyenne airframes. “With more than 1,000 Legacy Citation and CJ aircraft operating throughout the world, the need and demand for economical LPV and ADS-B solutions has increased tremendously,” Irwin explained. “Garmin offers these solutions and JETTECH offers the means to affordably retrofit these aircraft through our FAA approved STCs.”

JETTECH is asking EASA to approve the following FAA sanctioned STCs:

  • ST02427LA for the Citation 500/550/S550 and 560 aircraft to be equipped with a litany of single or dual Garmin GTN 650/750, GMA 35 Audio panel, GTX 33ES/GTX 3000ES, GWX 70 Weather Radar, GAD 42 for Roll Steer with Auto Slew features and more.
  • ST02432LA for the Citation 501/551 with the single or dual Garmin GTN 650/750, GMA 35 audio panel, GTX 33ES/GTX 3000ES, GWX 70 Weather Radar, GAD 42 for Roll Steer with Auto Slew features and more.
  • Amend STC ST01395WI (existing EASA.IM.A.S.02310) to include the Garmin G600 with RVSM equipped Citation 500/501/550/551/S550 and 560 series aircraft.
  • Amend SA01755WI for the CJ 525 aircraft to include the Dual GTN 650/750 and GTX 33ES/GTX3000ES
