FlightSafety Updates Citation 550 Simulator

Selects JETTECH's STC'd Garmin GTN Mod

FlightSafety International has selected the JETTECH Garmin touchscreen GTN 650/750 GPS/NAV/COM  modification to update their Citation 550 full motion simulator.

In selecting the JETTECH STC'd solution, the installation for the simulator is engineered for an autopilot coupled LPV WAAS approach and includes a voice-activated intercom and ADS-B in and out.

The modification includes a fully integrated GPS/NAV/COMM and also covers replacing the existing ‘hot mike’ audio panel with the integrated voice activated GMA 35, ADS-B in and out.

"We are extremely pleased that FlightSafety has selected our Garmin STC solution to upgrade their 550 full motion simulator," said Rob Irwin, founder and member/manager of JETTECH. "We have many aircraft owner and operator customers who have installed our solution and now have access to a simulator training platform."

In addition to the STC Install for 550B/560 series Citations, JETTECH provides an STC'd autopilot coupled LPV WAAS for the Citation CJs equipped with the ProLine 21 Integrated Avionics System. For early CJs, JETTECH’s STC covers the installation of Garmin GTN’s with coupled autopilot LPV WAAS capability. Also, JETTECH owns the STC install for the Garmin G600 and GTN 650/750 touchscreen series GPS for the Citation 500 series that includes WAAS approvals.
