Pan Am International Flight Academy's A320 Sim Qualifies To FAA Level C

Device In Florida Simulates Complex Wind Shear, Enhanced GPS

Pan Am International Flight Academy has received Level C qualification for its A320 simulator.  Located in Miami, FL, the sim is leased from GE Capital Aviation.  Manufactured by CAE, it is equipped with state of the industry training capabilities including Enhanced GPS and complex wind shear modeling.  The A-320 is the Academy's first such model and is the 66th simulator owned, operated and/or marketed to airline clients around the world.

Headquartered in Miami, FL, Pan Am provides high-quality aviation training services. Clients are representative of the world's leading commercial and regional airlines, business jet operators, government/military organizations, cargo carriers and Civil Aviation Agencies.  Pan Am, with facilities in Miami, FL; Cincinnati, OH; Denver, CO; Las Vegas, NV; Memphis, TN; Minneapolis, MN; Europe and Asia, provides airline training for pilots, flight attendants, mechanics, dispatchers and air traffic controllers around the world.

Pan Am was established by Pan American World Airways in 1980 in Miami, FL and continued to operate after the airline ceased operations in December 1991.  It has operated independently since December 1992.
