Aircare International To Provide Simulated Emergencies At NBAA-BACE

Will Have A Mobile Full-Motion Cabin Simulator, FACTS VIII, On Display And Available For Demonstrations

Aircare International’s FACTS Training has been an industry leader in emergency procedures training programs for business aviation crewmembers and passengers for nearly four decades.

Through a combination of experiential and didactic learning, Aircare FACTS employs the use of unique training devices, such as full-motion cabin simulators, to immerse students in realistic emergency scenarios. In addition to fixed devices at each training center, Aircare’s mobile simulator fleet allows training to be conducted onsite at the customer’s location.

Aircare will have one such mobile simulator, FACTS VIII, on display and provide demonstrations during the 2019 NBAA-BACE in Las Vegas. Attendees who experience a FACTS VIII demonstration will experience simulated emergency scenarios and could be subject to turbulence, hard landings or even a water ditching.

Hydraulic lifts and “floats” allow the simulator to mimic aircraft movements and provide an unmatched level of realism. Each simulator is outfitted with real working emergency equipment including fire extinguishers, life vests and life rafts, allowing participants to put learned procedures into action.

Crewmembers and passengers alike can benefit from Aircare FACTS simulator training. “We can do things to our full-motion simulators that simply cannot be replicated on a parked aircraft,” says Brian Hayvaz, Vice President of Operations, Aircare FACTS Training. “Being mobile with our training devices allows us to be nimble in fulfilling customer needs and building programs that fit operational requirements. We encourage anyone attending BACE to swing by the sim - let us show you what we can do.”

Aircare is exhibiting at the 2019 NBAA-BACE convention. The simulator can be located just outside of the Las Vegas Convention Center.
