Right Rudder Aviation Graduates Three New Private Pilots In One Day

Three In A Row! RRA Sees Three New Glider Pilots Through To Their Private Pilot Ticket

We've been keeping our eyes on a small but swiftly growing aviation operation in Florida, of late. Despite the ravages of the COVID-19 pandemic; innovative programs, careful implementation and quality leadership have produced amazing results under tough circumstances.

Not too long ago, Right Rudder Aviation (RRA) launched a Private Pilot - Glider (PP-G) program that has become a training hub allowing them to attract and train safe pilots efficiently -- and economically. RRA is a full service FBO, flight school, and aircraft dealer based at the Inverness Airport (KINF) in Inverness, FL.

The PP-G program includes everything necessary to become an FAA certificated Private Pilot - Glider at what they say is the lowest price point anywhere -- and we have no evidence to contradict them.

The package even includes a headset, checkride/written test prep, and ground school for just $2,999. And it works! Just this week, three students passed their PP-G checkrides in a single day, with two of them starting the program with zero time. The lucky new aviators are Buddy Mason, Thomas Soto, and Jeremy Stoel.

The Glider Program package was enabled by their purchase of a Pipistrel Alpha Trainer, a Rotax-powered motor glider equipped with a Glass panel. Unlike some of the aged Cessnas and Piper that populate many flight schools, training in a brand new aircraft makes for an attractive lure for students looking to broaden their horizons... literally.

This program is turning out to be a game changer in the highly competitive Florida flight training market. RRA reports that interest has been extremely high, with bookings coming in from all over the country. Just as impressive, the program is actually turning out students in near-record time, At this time, the record holder for minimum flight hours is 10.4 hours.

RRA's Andy Chan, chief of operations and chief flight instructor noted that, "It is extremely rewarding as a lover of aviation to see people that have dreamed of becoming pilots finally make that a reality as a result of our program."

The motivation behind creating the glider program was simply a wish to get pilots in the air as economically and efficiently as possible. More info to follow...
