Will Oversee Growth In US

Aero-News has learned Marc Bouvier has joined EADS North America as the Vice President for Strategy and Integration, with responsibility for the company’s growth and development through mergers and acquisitions, business integration, and the application of EADS technologies and products to the US market.

Bouvier most recently was Vice President, Large Security Systems for EADS Defense & Communications Systems. In this capacity, he built and managed a multicultural team for EADS' business development in China. During a three-year period, the company signed more than $100 million in contracts for the China Olympic Games.

Previously, Bouvier was Vice President Strategy and Corporate Development at EADS Telecom, where he oversaw the acquisition of companies in the United Kingdom, Germany and France -- tripling the company's revenues through external growth.

"We look forward to leveraging his expertise as our company continues its growth in the U.S. market, focusing in the defense and homeland security sectors."

Bouvier received his Engineering Masters Degree from the National School of Civil Aviation, Toulouse, and holds an MBA Degree from the Lyon School of Management.
