Dan Strohl Sez... Don't Miss Dan Strohl's NW EAA Fly-In Forums!

We got a cool note while we were looking over our mail after a hard day playing, uh, working out at the 2005 NW EAA Fly-In...

"I don't know if you can help or not... and I apologize for this not being a true press release (and to be fair, I am not sure that I should really be doing "press releases" about Arlington anyway)... AND I should have probably sent this weeks ago... but...

I am doing a forum at the Arlington Fly-in that is aimed at NON PILOTS, trying to get them into flying called "so you want to fly".

It seems to me that lots of people have asked me how to get started flying a plane, and I figured that I hopefully help the flying community by helping all these potential pilots. My thought is that everyone who comes out for the weekend should try to at least let all of those people who asked them about flying to come to the air show, even if they don't come to the forum, they can at least stop by the various FBO tents, see the displays, and hopefully get hooked!

Anyway, I am not really asking you to mention my forum, but it seems like a note to people who might be stopping by to evangelize to non pilots might be a cool idea!"

E-I-C Note: Dan's Forums are on Friday, at 1030 in Forum Tent E, Saturday at Noon in Forum Tent B, and Sunday in Forum Tent B, again at Noon. We hope to stop by at least one of them to see what Dan's up to.... but it sure sounds like a great forum idea, to us. Good luck, dan!
