Help! Quicksilver MXL Sport Stolen In AZ

If there is anything worse than a thief, than it has to be an aircraft thief. An Arizona ultralight pilot, who also happens to be a police officer, has lost his Quicksilver MXL Sport to a miserable, no-good, thief who took the aircraft and its 24 foot trailer early on the morning of February 19th, 2003. The aircraft was disassembled, and stored within the trailer, when it disappeared some time around 0300 that morning. The trailer has since been recovered, but the Rotax 503 powered MXL Sport is still MIA. The aircraft is primarily blue with a yellow stripe in between two red stripes. The stripes run from the leading edge of the wing to the trailing edge. The Rotax's Serial Number# is 3096615.

ANN Readers are urged to keep an eye out for this aircraft. Please check all separated engines you may come across, as one of them may have been taken from his aircraft, if it was parted out. If found, please notify your local Police department first and then contact the owner as noted below...
