If Your Aircraft Is Missing A Part...

...Nancy Morgan May Have Found It

Nancy Morgan was minding her own business Saturday, doing the things Nancy Morgan typically does on any Saturday, when at about 1400 local, the Hartselle (AL) woman heard something go "thump" outside.

She ran out to take a look.

"It was a door from an airplane that fell from the sky," she told the Decatur (AL) Daily News. She said it was white and had writing on it that said something about "in case of emergency.... I had been hearing helicopters and airplanes all day, and thought it may have fallen off one of those," she said.

So she called the Hartselle Police. Officers picked up the door and took it to nearby Rountree Airport where FBO owner Stoney Powell took a look.

While Powell said he wasn't sure just where the door came from, he told the Daily News, "I'm checking around to see if anyone knows of a pilot who's missing part of his airplane."
