Six New Chapters Established From California To North Carolina

IMC Club International will be opening additional Chapters across the nation in the next few weeks. Pilots will gather at CP Aviation in Santa Paula, CA on August 25th; RedBird Skyport in San Marcos, TX on September 13th, and MotionAir Aviation on September 14th in Midlothian, TX for the inaugural meetings. Also, new Chapters and meetings are planned for North Carolina, Nevada, Michigan, Alabama and Nebraska.

Embraer Executive Jets passed a major milestone in the mid-light Legacy 450 program last week when the first part was milled for the business jet, ushering in the beginning of fabrication. Hypersonic Flight Was Scheduled For Tuesday Over The Pacific

The U.S. Air Force and DARPA were expected to fly the hypersonic WaveRider X-51 test aircraft over the Pacific ocean Tuesday, part of an an ongoing series of tests for the Mach 6+ aircraft. The flight profile for Tuesday's test was to fly at Mach 6 for about 300 seconds ... or five minutes ... but still about twice as long as had been achieved at that speed in previous tests.
