Embraer Executive Jets Launches Legacy 450 Fabrication

First Parts Milled For The New Bizjet

Embraer Executive Jets passed a major milestone in the mid-light Legacy 450 program last week when the first part was milled for the business jet, ushering in the beginning of fabrication. "Even as we have been making progress on the Legacy 500, we have been anticipating this event for the Legacy 450,” said Ernest Edwards, President, Embraer Executive Jets.

US Sen. Jim Inhofe R-OK., a member of the Senate General Aviation Caucus and certified flight instructor with more than 10,000 flight hours, has announced that his Pilot's Bill of Rights S.1335 has been officially signed into law. Inhofe has worked to pass the legislation for the past year. In the Senate where the bill enjoyed co-sponsorship by 65 other Senators, the measure passed by unanimous consent in June. The House passed the measure by a voice vote.
