Pilot/Actor John Travolta Suffers Tragic Loss Of Son, Jett

One Of Aviation World's Most Notable Flyers Loses 16 Year Old Son After Seizure

While there is not a lot of information available, Aero-News has learned that a tragedy has befallen a member of the aviation community with the horrific news that Pilot/Actor John Travolta's son, Jett (16) was pronounced dead after extensive efforts to revive him following a seizure. The family, including Jett, John, 8 year old daughter Ella Blue and John's wife, actress Kelly Preston, were on vacation in the Bahamas at the time.

According to family attorney Michael Ossi, Jett suffered a seizure at his family's vacation home at the Old Bahama Bay Hotel on Grand Bahama Island. The 16 year old boy had reportedly had a history of such seizures and could not be revived after sufferering what was obviously a serious medical event.

ANN sends its condolences and prayers to John and his family.
