Flight Simulation Technique Center In India Purchases A Q400 Sim

FlightSafety International To Install The Device In 2018

FlightSafety International has signed an agreement with Flight Simulation Technique Center Pvt Ltd. (FSTC) for the purchase of a full flight simulator for the Bombardier Q400 aircraft. The new FlightSafety FS1000 simulator is scheduled to be installed at the FSTC training center in July 2018.

“We are pleased to expand our relationship with FSTC through their purchase of a simulator for the Bombardier Q400 aircraft,” said Bruce Whitman, Chairman, President & CEO. “This new training program and simulator will further enhance aviation safety in India and help to meet the growing demand for training in the region.”

“We welcome the addition of the Bombardier Q400 to our diversified simulator portfolio. It will join the Boeing C-17 simulator FlightSafety previously delivered to FSTC for use by the Indian Air Force,” said Sanjay Mandavia, Managing Director, FSTC. “The new simulator will enable us to provide our students with the very best quality training. We look forward to adding more FlightSafety simulators in the future as demand grows for training in India.”

The advanced technology systems incorporated into the FlightSafety FS1000 simulator being built for FSTC are designed to enhance performance, increase availability, and lower life cycle costs compared to previous-generation devices. They include a 60 inch electric motion base, a new multi-function Instructor Operating Station, and VITAL 1100 visual system.
