Offers Reduced Cost, Time To Get In The Air
Glasair Aviation is the latest planemaker to announce it is
going to assist the Federal Government -- and prospective pilots --
with the economic recovery, by offering customers three
limited-time money-saving offers.
Glasair is offering 50 percent off the Pre-Built option to
purchasers of any standard kit between now and December 19, 2008,
representing a potential savings of $10,000 on a complete Sportsman
kit. This offer is limited to kits currently in stock, and delivery
must be taken by February 27, 2009.
Additionally, buyers who sign up before December 19, 2008 for
one of the limited remaining Two Week to Taxi openings in January
or February 2009 will receive $10,000 in options at no extra
cost.
And for existing Glastar and Sportsman customers, Customer
Assistance is available at Glasair's Customer Assembly Center.
Limited to a few open slots in the CAC in January and February of
2009, services offered include:
- Wing completion, including control cables and fuel system
installation. (All riveting complete.)
- Firewall forward completion, including installation of engine,
engine accessories, propeller and cowling.
- Airframe completion, including installation of wings, tail,
landing gear, control line rigging, brake lines and fuel system
components.
- Aircraft painting, including disassembly of your Sportsman or
Glastar, transport to/from paint facility and reassembly after
paint.
Glasair's Harry Delong enthusiastically invites customers to
"take advantage of this once in a lifetime 'Economic Stimulus Sale'
and our facilities and expertise to dramatically reduce the cost
and time it takes for you to get your aircraft in the air."
Glasair Aviation is one of the largest, most well-established
kitplane manufacturers in the world, with more than 2,500 kits in
the field and some 1,200 aircraft flying in countries around the
globe.
