HFI Maintenance Scholarship Deadline Is November 30

Students Urged To Apply For The $2,500 In Tuition Assistance

The Helicopter Foundation International is in the process of accepting applications for the Maintenance Technician Certificate Scholarship – a scholarship specifically geared towards students enrolled in an FAA Part 147 school (or its international equivalent) who plan to become certified helicopter maintenance technicians. Up to six winners will be selected from all qualified applicants, and they will be invited to join us at HELI-EXPO 2013 in Las Vegas, NV.

Time is running out though – the deadline is November 30.

In addition to receiving up to $2,500 towards the winners’ tuition expenses, the scholarship provides a full registration for two to HELI-EXPO 2013, a complimentary one-year HAI membership for the winners, and tickets for two to the Salute to Excellence Awards dinner, courtesy of HAI.

Applicants can complete an electronic form for the Maintenance Technician Certificate Scholarship application. Please email to scholarships@rotor.com by 11:59 p.m. on November 30. Neatness, completeness and accuracy do count. All additional pages requested must be supplied. The winners are responsible for their own transportation and accommodations at HELI-EXPO 2013.

HFI’s Maintenance Technician Certificate Scholarship will only be awarded to candidates pursuing an Airframe (A), Powerplant (P) or both Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license or the international equivalent. A primary determinant will be evidence of the applicant’s interest and determination to work in the helicopter industry.
