Mooney's Looking Good

And the Outlook is Improved

As we told you in an early news story nearly a month ago, Mooney's new DX models feature something that every pilot will appreciate: more vision out the front. One of the neat things about going to a show is that we now can show you what we're talking about.

We tried to get photos that were as identical in viewpoint as possible, to show you a good side-by-side comparison. To make things "even more equal," we took the digital airbrush and removed the view out the windscreen -- all the exhibits and fat old guys, bikini models, etc., are just a distraction, anyway.

Here's the Ovation 2's view, typical of the entire line, and familiar to generations of Mooney drivers:
...and here's what it looks like, peering over the panel of the Ovation 2 DX.  Two extra inches never looked so good.

Seeing is believing, eh?
