FAA, NASA Getting Together

We'll Let You Know if Anything Important Happens

The FAA and NASA are bringing together experts to look at proactive ways to address system safety.

The Fifth Workshop on Risk Analysis and Safety Performance Measurements in Aviation being held through Thursday at the Renaissance Harborplace Hotel in Baltimore (MD).

The workshop, they say, "provides an opportunity for knowledge-sharing of system safety risk management philosophies and approaches between academia and the aviation industry." The workshops will give the FAA, NASA and industry an opportunity to review system safety processes and share information on safety culture and performance, human factors, operations and maintenances, general aviation and risk management.
