Slowly But Surely -- Another SJ30 Takes Wing

SJ30 Production Moves Forward with First Flight of Next Customer Aircraft

Emivest tells ANN that SJ30, serial number 008, has taken to the skies for its production flight checks over Texas. This marks a significant step in moving forward with production and establishing a regular delivery schedule.

John Siemens, Chief Test Pilot and Bryan Dennison, Production Test Pilot piloted the aircraft on its first production flight. Serial number 008 is the first customer aircraft to be flown since Emirate Investment Development Corporation's (EIDC) acquisition last year. Just last month EAC announced the completion of customer pilot training for this aircraft.

"The airplane flew exceptionally well just as we expected it would. We completed the items on the flight test card as planned including tests for handling qualities, stability and control and selected critical systems." John Siemens commented.

Joe Gullion, Emivest COO, looks forward to delivery of the aircraft to the customer "Our customer is very excited about receiving his aircraft. We are happy that all of the hard work and planning is finally paying off resulting in the flight of serial number 008... We have moved aircraft in flow behind 008 and look forward to beginning to deliver aircraft on a regular basis."

Serial number 008 will continue on through it productions checks, and then be delivered to Jet Works Air Center in Denton, Texas for the completion of paint and numerous optional equipment installations including HF radio, Garmin 500, XM radio/weather, Alto speaker system, cockpit voice recorder, and a cabin entertainment system. The aircraft is expected to be delivered in the summer.
