ANN, Seattle Avionics Partner Once Again For Special Oshkosh FreeFlight Offer

Includes Virtual Flight Displays For 2007!

Response was so positive last year... we just HAD to bring it back for Oshkosh again. In conjunction with our friends at Seattle Avionics, Aero-News will be offering a Travel Update on our homepage, as well as for readers of our daily Propwash newsletter, throughout AirVenture 2007.

The graphic image, updated every morning, will show TFRs, radar, cloud cover, winds aloft, and other data... all appearing on a chart similar to what you'll find in Seattle Avionics' Voyager FreeFlight software. What's more, you can customize this image to display whatever YOU want to show!

Pretty cool, eh? But wait... it gets even better. In addition to displaying this information on the Aero-News website... Seattle Avionics is also offering a special, FREE version of Voyager FreeFlight for ANN readers to download for their personal use.

But wait, there's more! New for AirVenture 2007, the Oshkosh-special, ANN-branded version of FreeFlight also includes stunning 3D virtual flights using Google Earth, part of the company's recently-introduced Voyager 3.6 Flight Planning Software.

And though the free version doesn't include all the bells and whistles of the full 3.6 software suite, users do have the option of previewing the full system for 10 days, free of charge.

"As our readers plan to head out to Oshkosh, we want that experience to be as safe and troublefree as possible," said Aero-News Editor-In-Chief Jim Campbell.  "We're really thrilled to be working with Seattle Avionics -- some of the best software weenies we know -- to offer the ANN branded flight planner, as just another way we can help the community we serve."

Look for our ANN-branded travel planner in the coming days -- and be sure to download your version of Voyager FreeFlight, to use for when you fly to Oshkosh... and for your flights to come!
