Named Manager Of The Cessna Learning Center In Wichita
FlightSafety Textron Aviation Training has promoted Rachel Runner to the position of Manager of the Wichita Cessna Learning Center.
“Rachel (pictured) is an outstanding leader who is dedicated to providing our customers with outstanding service and the highest quality training,” said Rich High, CEO, FlightSafety Textron Aviation Training. “Since joining FlightSafety in 2008, Rachel has developed an in-depth understanding of our business and has excelled in the wide variety of positions she has held.”
Runner joined the company at the Cessna Learning Center as an Intern from the Kansas State Polytechnic aviation program. Upon graduation, Rachel then served in a variety of roles with increasing responsibility. They include the Assistant to the Director of Quality Management Systems, Operations Support and Compliance Coordinator and Director of Quality Management Systems. She was promoted to Assistant Manager of the Center in 2017.
She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in technology management and an Associate of Science in applied business from Kansas State University. She also received a Master of Business Administration in Aviation from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and holds a private pilot certificate from the FlightSafety Academy in Vero Beach, Florida.
The Cessna Learning Center offers training for the Citation Sovereign, Sovereign+, Citation X, Citation X+, Encore, Latitude, and CJ3 using a fleet of six full flight simulators.
FlightSafety Textron Aviation Training serves operators of Beechcraft, Cessna and Hawker aircraft at 17 Learning Centers around the world, using a fleet of 89 full flight simulators.
