Midwest LSA Expo Debuts 14th Rendition Of Annual SportAv Event

The KR National Gathering Will Run Concurrently With The Expo On Friday and Saturday

The 2022 Midwest LSA Expo will take place Thursday, September 8, through Saturday, September 10th at Mt. Vernon Outland Airport (KMVN), Mt. Vernon, Illinois. This is the 14th year for the event!

Calling all Aviators - the Midwest LSA Expo is almost here! The free event features many Light Sport Aircraft, including Part 103, STOL (Short Take off and Land) and Gyroplanes on one easily accessible and demo flight friendly flightline. Craftsmanship and innovation will be on display at the KR National Gathering – running concurrently on Friday and Saturday.

Celebrate the 50 Year Anniversary of this pioneer homebuilt aircraft. Sit in one or many informative aviation seminars/forums presented by the best in the industry. It’s all here, It’s September 8 -10, 2022, and it’s at Mt. Vernon Outland Airport (KMVN), Mt. Vernon, Illinois! Free admission, free parking, free local shuttles, and free camping!

Of special significance this year, the KR National Gathering will run concurrently with the Expo on Friday and Saturday. The KR family of builders/fliers/enthusiasts are celebrating the 50th Anniversary of this pioneering homebuilt aircraft. Several flyable KR aircraft and numerous builders from across the country will be in attendance.

And Yes... ANN's Jim Campbell is trying to clear the decks at ANN HQ so he can make an appearance amd test-fly a few airplanes for the next edition of the SportPlane Resource Guide!

A number of Forums and Seminars have been scheduled:
