Dig Deeper: Embraer Announces Phenom 100 Jet Price Increase

New Price Effective July 1, 2007

You're going to have to dig a little deeper if you want to pony up the bucks for one of Embraer's breathlessly awaited Phenom 100s. Embraer has announced an increase in the price of the Phenom 100 jet, effective July 1, 2007. The aircraft will be priced at US$ 2.98 million for the FAA certified bird, based on January 2005 economic conditions in a baseline configuration. The current price of the Phenom 100 is US$ 2.85 million.

“The first Phenom 100 jet is in its final assembly stage and scheduled to fly very soon,” said Luís Carlos Affonso, Embraer Executive Vice President, Executive Jets.

“The Phenom 100 and Phenom 300 jets have met with great market acceptance, and are nearing 400 firm orders.”

In late March, the wing-fuselage mating was performed on the first Phenom 100 and final assembly is progressing successfully. The second Phenom 100 has just arrived at Embraer’s main plant, in São José dos Campos, to begin final assembly.

Embraer’s Phenom is on a world tour, showcasing full-scale mock-ups of the Phenom 100 and Phenom 300 jets, which will be on display from May 22-24, at the European Business Aviation Conference & Exhibition (EBACE), in Geneva, Switzerland.
