Hawker Beechcraft Services Appoints New Vice President

Andy Plyler To Lead Customer Support Network

Hawker Beechcraft Corporation announced this week the appointment of Andy Plyler as vice president, Hawker Beechcraft Services (HBS). He will be responsible for all aspects of HBS operations. HBS provides domestic and international support for Hawker Beechcraft customers, and Plyler will play a critical role in maintaining customer satisfaction by implementing innovative service solutions.

"Andy is a proven and skilled leader whose wealth of experience will help continue to build HBS into a world-class business recognized by our customers as the best service center network in the industry," said Bill Brown, president, Global Customer Service and Support. "We strive every day to set the standard for maintenance and repair operations, and I believe that Andy will be instrumental in the continuance of that goal."

Plyler's operational and business experience in the aviation and aerospace industry spans more than 20 years. He's held various leadership roles in aircraft maintenance operations, business development and process improvement at some of the most reputable companies including Delta Air Lines, BFGoodrich Aerospace, Honeywell Aerospace and L-3 Communications.

Plyler has a bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Kennesaw State University in Kennesaw, GA. He also served in the United States Army for four years in the 82nd Airborne.
