Keystone Helicopter Signs Maintenance Agreement with America Rising

Supporting The Only Helicopter-based Scheduled Airline

Keystone Helicopter Corporation has signed an agreement with America Rising to provide overhaul and repair services for the helicopter airline's fleet. America Rising is the only helicopter operator in the U.S. authorized by the Department of Transportation to operate as a scheduled airline.

America Rising/Glenwood Aviation, founded in 1999, provides helicopter charter and maintenance services from its Tipton Airport facilities at Fort Meade (MD). The company is developing a scheduled downtown-to-downtown helicopter airline service, with the first route to be between South Capitol Street Heliport-a mile south of the Capitol in Washington DC- and one of the three Manhattan public heliports. Currently, America Rising offers executive charter, limited scheduled service and four-hour document/package special delivery services to destinations between Washington DC and New York City.
