Aero-News Quote of the Day (06.12.04)

Aero-News: Quote of the Day

ANN's Quote of the Day usually derives from current news, though we reserve the right to pick quotes out of history that have a bearing on the day's events and issues.

Sometimes, you'll find them timely and in keeping with the content of the day's news... and sometimes, they'll just be thought-provoking.

Reader suggestions and comments are welcome... and if particularly intriguing, timely, or poignant, may themselves become future Quotes of the Day.

Let us hear from you, folks!

Aero-News Quote of the Day

"I want a career that I can enjoy as well as have a fun time doing my job. What better way to do that than to have a career in aviation?"

Source: Bradley A. Bormuth, age 16, of Morganton, North Carolina, winner of one of two Sporty's Aviation Exploring scholarships, and a student pilot with plans to become either an airline or corporate pilot. He has 79 hours, 20 of which are solo; he will turn 17, the minimum age to receive his certificate, in August 2004.
