With the recent announcement of a Model Aircraft Political Action Committee and dozens of negative comments on the Remote ID proposal put forth by the FAA, as well as other issues, the model aviation community clearly has some problems with recent FAA actions.
Comments and complaints about the FAA’s change in tactics are all over Facebook, YouTube, Twitter and other Social Media outlets, and it's pretty clear that the model aviation community feels threatened and at risk. Even members of the full-scale aviation community are expressing concern, with recent support for model concerns shown by the EAA... who has been vocal and active in these issues. How? Starting on Feb 3rd, you can download the software and register online. GoPro has updated the firmware for its Karma drones. Multiple pilots reported that on January 1, 2020, their aircraft were unable to correctly receive GPS signals required to calibrate the
internal compass on the drone, effectively grounding the aircraft. "If you’ve been unable to fly your Karma over the last few days, fear not!
