Road Show Stretches From Wichita To Geneva
Cessna is launching a
worldwide Citation Mustang mock-up tour on February 14, 2005. The
10-city tour will commence in Chicago, Illinois, on February 14,
2005, and will conclude on May 20, 2005, at the EBACE convention in
Geneva, Switzerland.
"The Citation Mustang has been enormously well received by the
market," said Steve Saflin, manager of Citation Mustang marketing.
"Customers and prospects have told us their confidence in Cessna's
proven track record of delivering new products on time and with the
specifications promised has been a major factor in their decision
making. This tour, just prior to the Mustang's first flight, will
further build on the Mustang excitement."
The traveling mock-up display features a full-size cabin with
interior amenities and a fully functional cockpit equipped with the
new Garmin G1000 avionics suite.

The Citation Mustang was announced at the 2002 National Business
Aviation Association (NBAA) convention. It is Cessna's newest
entry-level business jet and will offer customers the same quality,
safety, value and support that have been the foundation of the
Citation program for over 30 years.
The airplane will be certified as a FAR Part 23 aircraft, with a
cruise speed of 340 knots, and maximum operating altitude of 41,000
feet. Cessna has received over 200 orders for the Citation Mustang,
and the next available aircraft is the second quarter of 2009.
Cessna anticipates first flight in 2005.
