Storm Aviation Introduces Airbus A320neo LEAP-1A Differences Training

First Classes Will Begin September 11

UK-based Storm Aviation has announced the launch of Airbus A320neo Leap-1A differences training courses. This brand-new training will start at London airports on the September 11, 2017.

The highly anticipated NEO Leap-1A theory and practical training is a 4-day long course to be provided at London Gatwick and London Luton airports in the United Kingdom. Admissions for the training will take place each Monday starting from the 11th of September, 2017. The course will be performed under Storm Aviation’s EASA 147 approval as issued by the UK’s CAA, therefore, upon successful completion, students will be issued a UK Part-147 certification.

Training courses led by experienced instructors include both theoretical and practical sessions. Aiming to provide highest quality training, Storm Aviation tailors its training solutions for small groups of people. The single prerequisite for enrollment is an existing A320ceo or PW1100g type rating.

“Having added the NEO PW1100g to our capability last year it was inevitable that we would add the Leap-1A. This brand-new training course is specifically tailored for those aiming to swiftly gain one of the must have qualifications in the industry today. The theoretical training takes place during the daytime and is designed to build an extremely strong base of knowledge for the students. At the same time, the course is custom-made to prepare engineers for the realities of working on the Leap-1A: this is evident during the evening/night sessions where the students have direct access to the aircraft and engine,” said Thomas Buckley, CEO of Storm Aviation.

Throughout the training period which will last until the end of April, 2018, the company plans to prepare circa 200 Airbus A320neo Leap-1A engine professionals.

Storm Aviation also provides a number of other high-caliber aircraft engineering training courses for B1.1 airplane turbine and B2 avionic categories. The EASA Part-145 and Part-147 certified company is a subsidiary of global MRO provider FL Technics. S
