StandardAero Welcomes Cycle Aviation As Newest PT6A Service Partner

Can Now Handle Engine As Well As Airframe Maintenance For Several Aircraft Types

StandardAero and Cycle Aviation have signed a service partnership agreement to allow operators of PT6A powered King Air, Pilatus, Cessna Caravan, Cheyenne and TBM aircraft take advantage of one-stop shop services for both engine and airframe maintenance.

Cycle Aviation is an MRO service provider with locations at Leesburg Executive Airport in Leesburg, Virginia and Hagerstown Regional Airport in Hagerstown, Maryland.  Under the new agreement, Cycle Aviation will provide PT6A powered aircraft operators with airframe services while StandardAero serves as the preferred PT6A engine maintenance services provider at Cycle Aviation’s two facilities.

Standard Aero technicians working alongside Cycle Aviation technicians will provide PT6A engine removal and installations, line maintenance, hot section inspections, engine overhauls and engine upgrades for Cycle Aviation customers.  The agreement extends StandardAero’s network of service providers around the world.

“We are pleased to deliver this new service partnership program with Cycle Aviation,” said Todd Vanderhyde, Director of Sales for StandardAero.  “Offering complementary airframe and engine services provides a high level of efficiency and reduces aircraft downtimes with an integrated maintenance program for PT6A aircraft operators.”

StandardAero is a Pratt & Whitney Canada PT6A Designated Distributor and Overhaul and Facility (DDOF).  With more than 25 years of reliable turboprop experience, the company provides options and recommendations that are tailored to specific operator needs.  StandardAero’s technicians, facilities and infrastructure have been specifically designed for P&WC PT6A component repair and maintenance events with the goal of minimizing downtime and reducing operator costs.
