Narco Announces Value Series

Digital Device, Mechanical Price

Narco Avionics Inc. recently announced the addition of the AT165 Value Series of Digital Display, Mode 'C' Transponders to its AT165 series of transponders. It has a 250 Watt totally solid-state transmitter, non-volatile memory and instant VFR recall along with Plug & Play design to easily replace most older mechanical units.

The AT165 Value Series is a low cost version of the AT165 Series, giving the value conscious pilot a choice when upgrading or replacing their old mechanical transponder.

Currently, models are available to directly replace the Narco AT50/AT50A/AT150/AT155, the Bendix-King KT76/KT78, the Bendix-King KT76A/KT78A and coming very soon, the Cessna (ARC) RT359A/RT459A.

Plug & Play installation means you slide out the old radio and slide in the new one. Narco's replacements work with the existing tray, connector, wiring, antenna, and altitude encoder. No installation headaches or downtime. Fill out the paperwork, update the logbook and a quick correspondence check by a shop will complete the installation.

If more features are desired, the AT165 Series has bells and whistles like Pressure Altitude Display, three independent timers with alert, Altitude Hold Alert and dual independent displays. Most models also include an Audible Alert output that can be wired to the existing audio panel for altitude or timer alerts.
