Western Aircraft Awarded Fourth FAA Diamond Certificate

Authorized Maintenance Center For Dassault Falcon, Hawker/Beech, Pilatus

Western Aircraft has been awarded the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Diamond Certificate of Excellence for the fourth time.

The FAA Diamond award is an acknowledgement of Western Aircraft’s commitment to technical training and expertise, said Brian Rehberg, Vice President of Aircraft Services. "It is such a great honor to have received this award for the fourth time," he added. "We are very dedicated to our customers as well as our employees.”

Western Aircraft has developed a number of initiatives over the years to enhance safety and quality through aggressive training and safety management principles. The company continues to expand it’s “Western University” with formal courses in areas like Wire Termination, Engine Run and Taxi Training (make/model specific), and safe use of equipment (fall protection, forklifts, etc.).

In addition to the formal training received from Flight Safety and CAE, this training is a benefit to both the customers and the employees of Western Aircraft. This commitment to education has helped Western Aircraft develop multi-skilled technicians and supervisors, and grow to about 100 strong in the Aircraft Services Department.

Western Aircraft is located in Boise, ID and is owned by Greenwich AeroGroup in Greenwich, CT. Western Aircraft operates as a full-service FBO, FAA certified aircraft repair station, and a factory authorized maintenance/modification facility for Dassault Falcon, Hawker/Beechcraft, Honeywell, Collins, Pilatus and many other major suppliers to the Corporate and General Aviation industry. Western Aircraft also includes Aircraft Sales, Aircraft Charter, and Management, Parts Sales, MRO (maintenance, repair, and overhaul) on turbine aircraft, Interior Refurbishments and Avionics repairs/installations.

The company is a factory appointed sales center for the Pilatus PC-12 turboprop aircraft, which has been the top selling corporate turbine aircraft in the United States for the past four years.
