ANN, Aero-TV, Airborne Unlimited Return to Lakeland
E-I-C Note: There really does seem to be a whole new generation at Lakeland, these days... we're not only looking forward to covering the event this year, but have been pleased with the pleasant response and cooperation we've experienced with the current media team working the SnF event. We hope to see many of you there! -- Jim Campbell, ANN CEO/Editor-In-Chief/Guy Who Takes The Blame
The Aero-News Network and its affiliated programs, Aero-TV and the Airborne Unlimited Daily News series, will be returning in force to Lakeland for the 2015 Sun ‘n Fun Fly-In.
The Aero-News organization, the first to pioneer 24/7/365 online real-time reporting of aviation and aerospace news and information nearly two decades ago, is bringing some of its top people to cover the first major SportAv and GenAv event of 2015.
Episodes of the Airborne Unlimited daily news webcast will be produced, in part, from the site at Lakeland Linder Airport, while the Aero-News editorial team will be checking on new products, trends, planes and programs throughout the week.
Airborne Unlimited, recently upgraded to a daily production as it prepares to webcast its 500th episode, is the leading edge of the new Airborne Partnership Initiative, in which over 100 aviation and aerospace associations are working cooperatively with ANN to raise the bar for engaging, informative and honest aero-coverage. The consortium is working aggressively to expand its reach beyond the normal limits of aero-media to bring in interested parties, viewers and readers from the world outside aviation.
Recent meetings, just concluded at the National Association of Broadcasters, shows that there is not only strong interest in the kind of expert tech coverage produced by ANN, but that over 20 content distribution organizations have committed themselves to working with ANN, Aero-TV and Airborne to expand the reach of such programming.
Upgrades and announcements about future expansion plans for Airborne Unlimited and Aero-News Network are scheduled for the coming week.
