FAA IT Contract Awarded To SAIC

Company To Provide Comprehensive Information Technology (IT) Services To FAA, DOT, Other Federal Agencies

Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC) was awarded a prime contract by the FAA, Enterprise Services Center (ESC) to provide comprehensive information technology (IT) services to the FAA, DOT, and other federal agencies. The indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contract announced Monday has a one year base period of performance, four one-year options, and a contract ceiling value of more than $156 million if all options are exercised.  Work will be performed primarily in Oklahoma City, OK.

FAA's ESC operates as a federal shared service provider of integrated business services and solutions. It provides enterprise systems and applications, data centers, and services in accounting, human resources, payroll, custom programming and training across to the FAA, DOT and other agencies. Under the contract, SAIC will provide comprehensive IT support services as required in areas including system development, integration, management and hosting; telecommunications; information security and media support; office automation; and training.

"We look forward to applying our IT service management expertise to expand our support to the FAA ESC by providing comprehensive support services that will help enable the FAA and other agencies meet critical technology requirements," said Glenn San Giacomo, SAIC senior vice president and business unit general manager.
