Help EAA's Young Eagles, Get A Chance To Win One Cool Truck

It Doesn't Fly... But You'll Sure Look Good At The Airport!

Representatives with the Experiment Aircraft Association's Young Eagles program, the largest youth aviation education program ever created, tell ANN the organization is giving pilots the opportunity to help prepare the next generation of flight... AND win a specially equipped 2006 Ford F-150 pickup.

Starting June 1 through July 30, 2006, raffle tickets will be available for a specially-equipped Ford F-150 Lariat Edition 4x4 SuperCrew truck. Already loaded from the factory with such niceties as rear-seat DVD screens, an MP-3 player/multi-CD changer audio system, Sirius satellite radio with six months of free service, and Bluetooth headset cellular technology, the EAA's Lariat will also include a Garmin GPS Map 396, and aviation radio.

The EAA reports no more than 10,000 tickets will be sold for this one-of-a-kind truck, valued at nearly $45,000. The winner will be drawn at the close of the EAA AirVenture air show on Sunday afternoon, July 30.

Proceeds from raffle ticket sales will benefit EAA’s Young Eagles program and other youth education programs. Young Eagles is a program which has provided more than 1.2 million young people with free demonstration flights since 1992.

Revenue directly supports the efforts of more than 40,000 volunteer EAA-member pilots and a similar number of ground volunteers who make these flights possible in their local areas. Young Eagles flights not only help young people discover the world of flight; they show a new generation the possibilities that exist in all of us for discovery and achievement.

Tickets are being sold beginning June 1 for $20 each, three for $50 or seven for $100. They are available at the EAA AirVenture Museum in Oshkosh during EAA AirVenture on July 24-30, or at various public events in the Oshkosh region where the truck will be on display.

Wisconsin residents may also purchase raffle tickets starting June 1 online at the FMI link below. State raffle laws apply.
