The National Aeronautic Association, in partnership with the Air Care Alliance, a nationwide league of humanitarian flying organizations, is proud to announce the recipients of the 2014 Public Benefit Flying Awards.
NASA’s Mars Atmosphere and Volatile Evolution Spacecraft, known as the MAVEN, has been placed in orbit around Mars. It has been initially been placed into an elliptical polar orbit around the planet that is 35 hours long. Boeing commercial airplanes CEO Ray Conner said recently that the company plans to boost output of the 737 factory in Renton, Washington to 52 airplanes per month by 2018.
