Fun and Fantasy through Drone Technology…
Drones come in all shapes and sizes, and we’re finding out that their design purpose is almost limitless. In this video we find a series of small drones that are based on the Star Wars movie series. While at the Consumer Electronics Show held in Las Vegas in January 2017, ANN CEO and Editor-In-Chief, Jim Campbell, talked with Jack Bishop, who is the Head Development Pilot for Propel RC.
While these drones are obviously aimed at the market of fun and fantasy, the technology involved in their design and controllability is stunning. During the discussion Bishop goes into detail about the concept of the business and the effort that went into creating a drone design that would match the challenge of the different flying vehicles in the Star Wars movie series.
During the video, you’ll see the various iterations of these Star Wars drones in operation and will be amazed at the attention to detail to bring the fantasy to life, and the incredible performance these little drones offer. Of course, if they were difficult to fly the whole process wouldn’t be much fun, and Bishop explains how these drones can be operated in a super simple mode or in a mode that allows extreme maneuvering.
Of course you’ll have to watch the video to get the rest of the details on these high performance laser battle drones… that’s right, we said laser battle drones!
