New 43,000 Sq. Ft. Complex Located At Denton Municipal Airport
(DTO)
Jet Works Air Center recently broke ground on its new 43,000
square foot maintenance hangar expansion in Denton, TX. The new
expansion is expected to be completed in first quarter 2009 and
will include 40,000 square feet for additional aircraft maintenance
and repair, inspections, and avionics installations.
Similar to the existing Jet Works facility at DTO, the new
hangar will also accommodate long-range business jets including
Bombardier Global Express and Gulfstream GV models. The remaining
3,000 square feet will provide additional offices and back shop
space.
"The bottom line is we offer turbine operators a great value
with a personal touch here at our facility," said Trey Bryson,
President of Jet Works Air Center. "Being able to provide heavy
maintenance, paint, interior and full avionics services all
together in one place, in a timely manner, we believe is very
attractive to many operators. We saw this as a good opportunity to
expand our capacity so we can accommodate more of these customers,"
added Bryson.
Jet Works Air Center has continued to grow their full service
operation since moving north to Denton from Fort Worth in 2005. The
company is the exclusive completions center for Piaggio P-180
Avantis in the United States, and provides paint and interior
services and refurbishments for a wide range of turbine powered
aircraft.
Jet Works also provides extensive avionics services and is an
authorized dealer for Rockwell Collins, Honeywell - Bendix King,
Universal Avionics, Goodrich, L-3, Garmin, Aircell, Airshow and
various other manufacturers.
