ALTO Aviation Unveils A New Cabin Audio Amplifier; ALTO Acapella DZ-290

Designed As An Update To New Or Legacy Systems

ALTO Aviation has introduced a new Cabin Audio Amplifier ALTO Acapella DZ-290, ALTO Aviation’s new qualified and FAA approved solution specifically engineered as a solution for cabin audio upgrade, to update new or legacy systems with outstanding sound.

The integration of the DZ-290 amplifier into your system is easy and control for the new DZ-290 audio system can be through an ALTO keypad, an existing legacy switch panel or optional software. It also features chimes control for NS and FSB ordinance connections. It supports minimal disruption to the existing wiring.

The unique feature of the DZ-290 is its ability to interface directly with speaker level outputs from a PA-AV Unit. It allows the audio to be passed directly onto ALTO speakers. This revolutionary amplifier features an integrated 4 channel amplifier with over 160 W of power to bypass the existing PA/IFE amp. It features internal 4 source selection, volume and mute control. Selection may be through ground logic or by optional software. PA override, chime inputs and default to PA make it well suited to override existing PA-AV controllers.

The DZ-290 amplifier interfaces directly to the Audio International RS-485 databus for control of the ALTO amp. This interface allows former Audio International equipment to remain in the aircraft and may provide obsolescence support for legacy Audio International and Baker systems alike.
