"Live" Online CFI Renewals Pushed To April 10, 11
The FAA gave approval February 26, 2010 to AVSeminars to offer
the nation's first CFI Renewal through a "Live" Webinar. The
process of renewing a CFI Certificate is essentially identical to
attending a live FIRC, but without the travel and hotel costs. All
that's needed are a PC or Mac, a web-cam, a microphone and high
speed web access.
Originally scheduled for April 3rd and 4th, the webinar launch
has been rescheduled for April 10th and 11th due to the observance
of Passover and Easter. Only 24 attendee positions are
available.
CFIs who have renewal months of April, May, June & July are
invited to register online, where attendees will also find full
information concerning the webinar procedure. AVSeminars continues
to offer its highly-praised series of Flight Instructor Refresher
Clinics (FIRCs) presented by The ALPHAVICTOR Companies with a visit
to Fort Lauderdale on April 17 & 18.
AVSeminar presenters bring decades of real aviation training
experience to a robust clinic comprised of hands-on training to
meaningful presentations in a 16-hour package.
Punctuated with high-quality original video presentations and
robust discussions, AVSeminar's FIRC registration fee for either
the webinar or live presentation is $69, which includes the FAA
Temporary Airman's Certificate. CEO & Chief Instructor, Bruce
Micek says "It's ALPHAVICTOR's contribution to reversing the
attrition of CFIs and assuring the lifeline of aviation."
